About MyCardRips

MyCardRips is an independent review site for traditional card-rip apps — the apps where you buy and digitally rip packs to receive real, professionally graded Pokémon, sports and TCG cards you can ship, vault or sell back.

Why we exist

Card-rip apps are exploding, and the marketing is loud. It’s genuinely hard to tell which apps publish honest odds, pay fair buy-back, and actually ship you a real graded slab — and which don’t. We do the boring, careful testing so you can spend with confidence, or decide not to spend at all.

How we stay independent

• No brand operates, sponsors or approves this site.
• Rankings are editorial. Some outbound links may become tracked affiliate links to fund the work, but that never changes a score or position.
• We fund our own test accounts and rip our own packs.
• When a fact can’t be verified, we say so instead of guessing.

How we test

For each app we create a real account, complete KYC, deposit funds, and rip across pack tiers. We test the buy-back flow, request withdrawals, read the odds and terms, and — where possible — ship a slab. Everything is scored against our published eight-criteria methodology.
