Crypto card rips

These apps sell the same thing as the ones we rate: a digital pack, a real graded card, and an offer to buy it back. The difference is where the money goes. A sell-back here lands as stablecoin in a wallet, not dollars in a bank, which is why they sit on their own page rather than being sorted next to apps that pay cash.

Every crypto rip app we track

Buy-back rates are what each app publishes about itself, not what we measured. A disputed figure is marked, and the review has both sides.

Powered by Collector Crypt. Glyde and Gacha Sports are storefronts running on Collector Crypt's engine, vault and odds rather than their own, so they share its inventory and get no separate review. Their pack ranges differ; the Collector Crypt review is the one that describes the machinery underneath all three.

What a stablecoin payout costs you

A buy-back percentage on this page is not comparable to one on the main ranking. Three things sit between a stablecoin balance and money, and none of them appear in the percentage:

  • Custody. The balance is in a wallet. Losing the keys, or the app losing them, is not a reversible bank dispute.
  • Off-ramp. Turning USDC into dollars costs a fee and takes a route — an exchange, a card rail, a bank transfer — that the app does not control and does not quote.
  • Tax. In the US a stablecoin disposal is a taxable event in its own right, separate from the card. That is a question for an accountant, not a review site; see card rips and taxes for the general shape of it.

Not financial, tax or legal advice. Stablecoins are not deposits and are not insured.

Questions

Are crypto card rips different from normal card-rip apps?
The pack and the card are the same. The payout is not. These apps sell back to a stablecoin balance in a wallet rather than to a bank, so an 85% buy-back is 85% of fair market value before whatever it costs to turn that stablecoin into money. You also hold the custody and chain risk that a bank-withdrawable app absorbs for you.
Which token and chain do they pay in?
Mostly USDC, but not all. Monster pays in USDm on MegaETH and Grailed.gg pays a balance it calls Gems which is withdrawable in crypto. The token and chain are in the table, because "stablecoin" is not one thing.
Do you rate these apps?
Not yet. Every app on this page is tracked from desk research with sources and shows "Not rated". We score an app only after opening it, funding it and ripping across tiers — see how we rate.
