Courtyard adds $39 and $749 Pokémon packs, retires Fire & Electric

Courtyard replaced one Pokémon pack with two on October 16, 2026. The app listed a $39 pack called 30th Anniversary: Encore and a $749 pack called Pokémon Inferno. It retired Fire & Electric in the same update.

MyCardRips recorded all three changes at 11:26 UTC on October 16, 2026. Courtyard’s blog carried no post about either new pack that day. Its most recent entry covered sneaker packs instead.

The swap moved Courtyard’s live pack count from 102 to 103 on October 16, 2026. Both newcomers sit in the Limited category rather than the standing Pokémon shelf.

Both packs carry an expected value equal to 96.0% of their price, read from Courtyard’s listings on October 16, 2026. That is the ratio Courtyard applies across its catalog. The buy-back offer on both is 84.6% of Courtyard’s own market estimate.

What it changes for your next rip

Break-even chance is where the two part ways. Pokémon Inferno returns a card worth $749 or more on 26.8% of rips. That figure comes from the odds Courtyard published on October 16, 2026. 30th Anniversary: Encore clears its $39 price 18.1% of the time.

The ceiling gap is wider. Pokémon Inferno tops out at $47,936, which is 64.0 times its price. 30th Anniversary: Encore tops out at $624, or 16.0 times its price. Both ceilings come from the odds table dated October 16, 2026.

Floors move the other way. Courtyard sets a minimum card value of $375 on Pokémon Inferno, half the pack price. The $39 pack floors at $30, which is 76.9% of its price. Both figures date to October 16, 2026.

Early demand landed almost entirely on the cheap pack. 30th Anniversary: Encore drew 9,788 pulls in its first 24 hours. That is 22.0% of all 44,531 Courtyard pulls counted in the 24 hours to October 16, 2026. Pokémon Inferno drew 211 pulls over the same window.

Two separate sets sit behind the names. PokeBeach reported in June 2026 that 30th Celebration would release worldwide in September, carrying a new Futuristic Rare rarity. TheGamer named Mega Charizard X ex the most valuable card in Japan’s Inferno X set.

The retirement is the part to watch. Fire & Electric is gone from Courtyard’s live listings as of October 16, 2026. A buyer holding a Fire & Electric pull keeps the slab and the buy-back offer. That offer attaches to the card rather than to the pack.

Courtyard now runs 12 packs on its standing Pokémon shelf plus the two Limited drops, counted on October 16, 2026. The $749 price point puts Pokémon Inferno behind only the $2,500 Pokémon Legend Pack among its Pokémon-themed rips.

Full terms, grading partners and withdrawal rules sit in the Courtyard review. Every Courtyard Pokémon pack captured so far is listed in the Pokémon pack catalog.
